Lurking In: The Dreaded Cave of DOOM (aka my bedroom)
I Feel: cold
Jamming To: The Life I Lead-Mary Poppins OST
Holy crap, where did September go?
October's going to be awesome, what with the first season of Digimon being released on DVD (finally!) and Pokémon Black 2 coming out-both are going to be out in stores within a day or so of each other! Awesome!
So, I think the bag I carry around with me is finally beginning to die. It's worn in places and there're holes in the inner compartments. Also, with my tendency to lug several books around with me at once, it's too small. I have my eye on a pretty cool Rainbow Dash messenger bag, but I won't be able to get it until my next payday, as I need to keep hold of money to pay for my reserved copy of Black 2 and the bag itself costs $40 plus whatever the shipping fee is. Soon, though.
There are so many things I want to buy, though. I'm forcing myself to not spend my money all over the place anymore ( figure getting one game/DVD/book/whatever with each paycheck is fine-just one, though). But still, thanks to some videos I found on You Tube I've been introduced to the wonderful Japanese Re-Ment miniatures and the awesome Whipple craft sets. They both appeal to me because I collect miniatures. Unfortunately, the only place near where I live that sells miniatures is Hobby Lobby, and while the stuff they have is pretty cool they have a small selection. Amazon has a decent number of Re-Ment packages for sale, but I'm hesitant to buy them as they're blind bags and I don't want to risk getting several of the same thing (two of one item is fine, but three is pushing it). I might get one eventually, though. And as Wal*Mart doesn't stock the American version of the Whipple sets anymore and the nearest Toys R Us to my house is about 45 minutes away, I'll have to rely on Amazon for that, too, when I finally decide to buy them.
I do have one question, though.
Why does Japan get all the cool stuff? :P
Until Next Time,
